YOUR WORK. YOUR CONTROLS.
Understand your draft before you close the tab.
Personal device
A working draft stays in this browser’s local storage. Return on the same device and browser to continue. It is not a cross-device backup.
Shared device
A draft uses this tab’s session storage. It clears on normal closure or after 15 minutes of inactivity and a one-minute warning. Browser recovery can retain tab data: remove your draft, then close the browser.
Storage blocked
Work stays temporarily in the open page. Reloading or leaving can lose it. The editor tells you when it cannot keep a draft.
What is used, and why.
- Essential AI session
- Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookie: __Host-rp-writing. Expires after 24 hours. Needed to protect access to your own AI requests.
- Working drafts
- Local or session storage according to your device choice. Remove drafts from their editor. CV and application drafts are separate.
- Interface preferences
- This browser remembers language and reduced-motion choices until changed or cleared. Preferences are separate from draft content.
- Advertising and analytics
- We have not added advertising trackers or analytics scripts. There are no optional tracking categories to enable here. Hosting may process access and security data under its own rules.
Choose a quieter interface.
Reduce transitions and decorative movement. Your operating system’s reduced-motion setting always takes priority. This control does not change your documents.
Remove a draft from its editor.
This page does not open or read your private drafts. In the CV editor, use “Not mine: remove from this device”. In the document workspace, use “Remove this application draft”. Each removes its own draft and requests deletion of its corresponding AI context. A connection and the original AI session are needed for server deletion.
